Who we are
Raj Driving School provides automatic driving lessons in Bournemouth and Poole. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us at rajdrivingschooluk@gmail.com or on 07424 343937.
What information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your postcode, so we can check we cover your area
- your driving experience level
- any message you choose to include
If you send an instructor enquiry through our Become an instructor page, we collect your name, email address and phone number, your qualification, whether you have a suitable car, the gearbox you would teach in, the area you would like to cover, and any message you include. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use your information
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, check we can cover your area, and arrange lessons with you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Our lawful basis
We process your information because it is necessary to respond to your request and take steps towards providing lessons, and because we have a legitimate interest in running our business and answering enquiries.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, which acts as a processor on our behalf. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond and, if you become a student, to deliver your lessons. If you do not go ahead, we delete your details within a reasonable period, and you can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Cookies and third party services
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you. It records anonymous information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, your country and your device type. To display text correctly, it loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is shared with them. Links to Google reviews and maps take you to Google, which has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information
- object to how we use your information
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
